Cognitive Load Theory

Cognitive load is a universal set of learning principles that are proven to result in efficient instructional environments as a result of leveraging cognitive learning processes.  Cognitive load theory applies to all types of delivery media, content, and learners.  Because cognitive load theory addresses how to use fundamental tools of training (e.g., visuals, audio, text), it applies to everything from technical content to soft skills and to all delivery platforms from paper to eLearning.  With this, whether you are a classroom teacher or a learning developer --cognitive load theory applies to all of us.  Review this example.....
